The winds of change.

Once again the winds of change have hit the Johnson home. (Literally, Idaho is so dang windy.) Today is Justins last day of work at Premier Technology. His dad reopened his business and alas Justin will now be working for him. A couple of months ago Jon (Justins Dad) bid a job in Mississippi and won the bid. Luckily we will not be picking up house and moving to Mississippi, but instead have the opportunity to stay here and work out of the office in town. As long as I have known Justin he has always had this dream of working with his dad and brother. He is very happy to finally have the opportunity and it so excited. So Justin will now be employed by I.C.I. (Industrial Construction Inc.)

Premier couldn't quite let Justin go so instead they are offering to subcontract jobs out to him. Therefore Justin will be opening his own part time company and do work as a Professional Engineer. He already has 500 hrs of work from Premier. We are thinking about calling his company Kamson, a mix between Kamden and Karson. What do you think?

Today I happened to be at Justins office and so many of his coworkers had such great things to say about him. He has really impressed people there by his smarts and his hard work. Not only is he their coworker but their friend. He will surely be missed. One guy in particular said something so nice about Justin and it made be so proud. Mike told me "Justin is such an awesome guy and I just love him. He is so amazing and I wish that I had 10 of him around!" I thought that it was so nice!

Justin I am so proud of you for all your hard work and dedication. I love seeing how much people admire you, and the strong person that you are. You can do anything!

So here we go....onto our next adventure in life.

Ice cream or spa treatment?

Dear Karson,
Oh my little man, I love how you enjoy food to the fullest. When I gave you ice cream this afternoon to get some things done around the house I had not idea that you would end up such a mess. Somewhere along the way of eating the ice cream you decided it would be a good idea to turn it into a spa treatment and lathered it on yourself from head to toe. But hey at least you clean up nice!

XOXO

Love, Mom

A beautiful sight!

Not only is the weather absolutely beautiful outside today but I am also watching these wonderful men who are working hard to keep my sanity in tact. Just look at that beautiful fence. It won't be long before I can let my wild hooligans loose in the back yard. Ahhh! What a wonderful day!

Easter Fun.

We had a wonderful Easter weekend! It started off with a visit from Aunt Tessa! We always have so much fun when she comes to visit and the boys just love her.

Saturday we kicked off our Easter celebrations with a delicious breakfast at our house with the Johnson family. Pa and Tu Tu brought the boys Easter baskets and us a Easter lily. We then all headed down to the Shelley Easter egg race. What a joke. There was a ton of people there and in 10 seconds flat all the eggs were gone. The boys had fun anyways and did end up getting a few eggs.

This picture is funny. I told Kamden to look at me and smile but he couldn't see me very well with the sun in his eyes so he looked at me like this.

We then headed to Pa and Tu Tus house for another Easter egg hunt. This one was much better and the boys had fun looking for eggs all over the yard. Justin and I decided it was a great time for the Easter bunny to make his visit. So while I took the boys over to see the horses, Justin played Easter bunny. When we came back from the barn Kam was so excited to see that the Easter bunny had left him something he jumped out of the Ranger and took off running.

Karson got a new potty!! Not as exciting as the bike but hey that Easter bunny had to be practical too.

We then headed over to the Colgrove house and had a nice lunch and another Easter egg hunt for Kamden Karson and Porter. My mom got them some really cute Easter baskets too with lots of fun stuff inside.

We hopped on home for a quick nap then headed up to Grandpa and Grandma Voyles house. Karson was a little grouchy at this point but Kamden was still going strong and had yet another Easter egg hunt and some Easter goodies. We had a nice relaxing evening there. Then headed home to hit the sack. We were exhausted but had such a wonderful day!!!

Sunday we went to church and then that evening headed over to Grandpa and Grandma Johnsons for Easter dinner with the whole Johnson clan. It is always fun getting all together. It was a wonderful end to our Easter fun!

Oooops I did it again.

Yup I chopped it all off. I can never seem to keep my hair long before getting sick of it and cutting it. Good thing I love short hair.

We had a great weekend together. Went to breakfast with good friends, took long afternoon naps together, and went on walks and played outside.

Today I am enjoying the 53 degrees outside. Ahhh beautiful!! Took my kids to play at my sisters house. Fun!

The sun is making me smile!

Now I guess I better go and get the laundry done!

Dog gone it!

When I went to reach for the scissors on the hook at the store flashes of Kam cutting his hair flooded my mind. Right then and their I vowed that I would keep them out of his reach and only let him use them when I could watch him like a hawk. Sounds safe right. I mean after all they are KID scissors and the boy loves doing art. So I bought the scissors.

Last night Justin was gone so I was looking for things to entertain the kids and pass time. I decided to get the scissors out of hiding and sat right next to Kamden as he cut pictures out of an old magazine. I looked away from Kamden for five seconds to help Karson get some candy from his pez dispenser and I suddenly hear a YIPPP! Poor little Ellie was sound asleep on the floor next to us and she got awoken when Kamden decided to take the scissors to her ear. Blood started dripping all over the place. MY CARPET!!! AH GEEZ!! She was bleeding a ton so I was expecting the worst. Luckily when I finally got her to hold still and got the bleeding to stop, I saw it was just a little cut.
Needless to say Kamden got sent to his room for the night, I spent the rest of the night scrubbing the carpet, and the scissors will be up high somewhere in hiding for a very long time!!

How safe are KID scissors that can cut through a dogs ear anyway?

The ups and downs of March.

It seems like the month of March is such a yo-yo month. One second it is nice and sunny and you think to yourself "yes spring is finally here" then the next its a blizzard outside. That is kind of how the last two weeks have been around here. The boys were sick once again. This year has felt like the never ending sick season! Runny noses, cough, along with the fever. Will it ever end? Luckily the sun came out and we were able to get out of the house in some nice warm weather. Kamden enjoyed riding his little bike around and Karson was more then content being pulled in the wagon. I was just happy about getting out of the house!

Last week we went up to Island Park and stayed the week at the cabin. It was so relaxing. Nothing to do and no where to go. It was fabulous!! We just lounged around all day. It was a much needed break for me. Justin took Friday off and came up for the weekend. We had a great time all together. Our wonderful week ended to soon, and to make matters worse we had to drive home in a blizzard. So much for that warm weather we were having. Here is some pictures from this past month.

My boys love their Aunt Karlee, and we always have so much fun when she comes over to play. They especially love to play with her shoes! I can't blame them though look how cute they are.

When the boys wake up in the morning they love getting in my bed to watch some cartoons. It dosn't last long before they find they have bigger and better things to do but is sure is cute seeing them cuddle.
