Dirty Dancing!

For Valentines Day Justin gave me tickets to Dirty Dancing on Broadway. So last night we stepped out for a night on the town. (Toronto) We ate at a place called Kit Kat Bistro. A very cozy Italian place, right downtown in the heart of the theater district.  It was some of the best pasta I have ever had. As a matter of fact what Justin ordered was the best pasta either of us had ever had. A penne, in red sauce, with spicy italian sausage. The red sauce was so ...... delicious!  We sat and talked about life and our dreams for the future. After dinner we walked a few blocks to the theater. We had great seats. Seven rows back from the stage, smack dab in the center.  The show was very upbeat and exciting.  We had so much fun, some might even say "I had the time of my life." (All you Dirty Dancing fans will get that.)  It was a seriously a blast!  The best part about it was that I got to spend a wonderful night out with my best friend.

So of course this wouldn't be a real blog entry without mention of the kids. Karson has a new tooth. He now has three. He is crawling, climbing, pulling himself up to things, and just plain all over the place. He is a little go bug. There is this fake plant upstairs in our room. He loves to get into it. He pulls the moss out all over the place. Once he is in our room he has a one track mind.  (Where's that plant!)  I was trying to get ready for my date with my hubby and Karson wouldn't leave the plant alone. So I put a laundry basket in front of it hoping that would distract him from it.  But oh no. This kids is determined. So, I peeked outside the bathroom and found him in the laundry basket, tummy down, reaching up to get the plant! What a clever fella!

Well it looks like our stay in Toronto has once again been extended. Not that I mind I quite like it up here. It looks like we will now be heading back to Michigan sometime in April.  I just wish that it would warm up so we could get out there and do some exploring! Poor Kam, there is this huge playground right outside our back door but he can't even go play on it because there is too much snow.

Our Valentines Day.

Special Delivery!!!!

Kam feeding Bear some pizza.

We had a great Valentines day.  For dinner we bought some heart shaped pizzas and had a picnic on the family room floor.  Karson was so into the pizza that we decided to give him some crust to chew on. He wasn't happy with us when we had to take it away because he was bitting too much off.  Kamden of course loved the pizza.  He was so excited about it that he even fed Bear some. We made sugar cookies, and decorated them. Kamden really had a lot of fun with the sprinkles.  We surprised the boys with some balloons and goodies. Justin and I really like making Holidays special, and we love celebrating them!

A few Pictures!

This is their little cubby/fort they love to play inside. Kamden is always putting his new found treasures in there and himself! He gets in and shuts the door! I can't believe he fits! Karson loves to come add see all the things Kamden has put in it.

The boys love to wrestle with their dad. I love how Karson even joins in.

This picture is just priceless. Kamden is showing Karson how to "play" with the x-box controller. I am sure that dad will be really proud!

Niagara Falls.

Yesterday we took a day trip to Niagara Falls.  It was a very cold wet day but we still had a great time. We went and had lunch at the Rainforest Cafe. Kamden absolutely loved that place!  There was so much for him to see. He loved all the life like animals, fish, and rainstorms. We then went and took a visit to the Hershey's shop. Yum, Yum!  The falls were beautiful, but it was super cold and wet! So we managed to get a quick picture before heading back home. We had such a great day!  The best part about the trip was spending such a wonderful day together. It is fun seeing Kamden grow up and start enjoying life's many wonderful adventures!

Sweet Kamden, sick Karson.

Kamden has been so sweet lately. Must be making up for last week! :) The other night I found him straping bear into Karsons seat (the one I usually use when I am feeding Karson). He told me that bear wanted to eat. So he got some fruit loops and started feeding them to bear. So cute!  This morning I was bathing him and he jumped up scooped bear up off the floor and put him in the tub with him. I didn't have the heart to tell him that bear couldn't bath with him. He loves that bear! He has been so helpful and loving with Karson being sick.  Last night he was helping Justin make dinner and it was just the cutest thing. He gets so excited about spending time with his daddy.  I heard Justin telling him "go tell mom dinner is ready". He came up to me and said "ma inner eady." So sweet!
Karson has been so sick with a cold. It has been so hard to see him sick. He has been sleeping terrible! Hopefully he will soon be on the road to recovery.

Welcome to the official Johnson Family Web page

I think that I have finally got this figured out!  So now that we are up and running I decided it might be time for another update. We are back up in Canada now, and probably will be here till the beginning of March. We are enjoying our time here.  Now, if all the boys could just get over their colds we would be doing even better.
Kamden has been in full force this week, and has really been putting my patience to the test. It all began when he threw the digital picture frame off the table and onto the floor breaking it. Not even 10 min after this Kam picks up Karson and then throws him back down on the floor, face first. It doesn't take long before the blood starts streaming out. Karsons two tiny bottom teeth pierced his top lip. Ouch! So, a few days later Justin has come home early from work sick. I go up stairs to give him some medicine. When I come back down there is raw broken eggs everywhere. On the wall, on the carpet, on Kamden! Guess he thought it looked like fun to throw raw eggs against the wall.  Luckily, Justin was able to fix the frame, Karson is doing fine. And where the raw eggs once were, is now the cleanest spot of carpet in the house.
Karson turned seven months old this week. He is growing like a little weed. He is all over the place, and loves to explore everything! As a matter of fact the other day I caught him trying to climb the stairs. He is a mover alright! It won't be long before he is running around. Even though he has had a challenging week, due to Kamden and a cold, he is the most calm, easy going baby ever!
